What if you see fire in Japan, you might need to look for a Fire extinguisher.

You might have seen the Japanese beer called Asahi.

Japan money symbols

Yesterday we have shown Japanese money 1000 yen in our Japanese dictionary.
Today the Japanese dictionary show you the most expensive note - I CHI MAN YEN - 10000 and those Japanese symbols.
There are three kanji symbols. First kanji symbol is Ichi and means One. The second kanji symbol is man and means ten thousands. The last one is yen symbol.

Sample Japanese symbols

In Japanese, Mihon means sample and is written with two kanji symbols.
The first kanji symbol means look or watch by itself and the second kanji symbol means book in Japanese.

Today’s Japanese dictionary show you the Japanese money and Japanese symbols written on a paper.
There are 4 different type of Japanese papers, starting from 10,000, 5,000, 2,000, and 1,000 yen.
2,000 yen is very rare, as they only issued only 1 time.
Today’s Japanese money is 1000 yen.
Now, if you see the Japanese symbols on the left, there are 2 kanji characters, which says 1,000 yen.
The first kanji symbol means 1,000, and the next symbol means yen in Japanese.
There are also 5 Japanese symbols on top. They mean “Bank of Japan - Nippon Ginkou”.

Today’s Japanese dictionary will show you two different Japanese picture and Japanese symbols, and
we will show you how they are really used in a Japanese food products.
Those Japanese symbols are:
- Egg in Japanese
- Soup in Japanese
Take a look at the following pictures.

Let me explain about how we write egg in Japanese. We use three hiragana symbols to write egg in Japanese, and they are called Ta Ma Go. In the picture above, the last 3 big Japanese symbols are egg characters in hiragana.
The other first symbols are the name of the egg. The brand name of the egg.

This picture is the soup ingredients. In Japanese, we call Soup as “Suu pu”, and use 2 katakana symbols and prolonged sound between su and pu symbols. As you can see the picture, the are the last Japanese symbols.

Emergency Exit

Today’s Japanese dictionary show you the emergency symbols which is often used in Japan.
On the panel, you can see words “EXIT” and three Japanese symbols. These Japanese symbols are pronunced as Hijyouguchi in Japanese and literally means emergency exit. All Japanese symbols are kanji and the first two kanji symbols mean emergent and the third symbol mean exit. The last symbol can also means mouse.

Japanese dictionary: Apartment
