In Japanese, Mihon means sample and is written with two kanji symbols.

The first kanji symbol means look or watch by itself and the second kanji symbol means book in Japanese.

The way of writing a character with a different set of Japanese symbol is called kanji compound and this method is often used in Japanese language.
